I personally love to see brands collaborating with Women’s footballers. For so long its been all about ‘the influencer’ as brand ambassadors and it’s so refreshing whenever you see a company shift towards athletes.
If you glance over my ‘other‘ blog, you will see that Charlotte Tilbury has been firmly on my radar for so many years. I remember first meeting Charlotte back in 2017/2018 at her product launches. An incredible woman, an incredible brand and I think this might just be my favourite collaboration of her’s so far.
Ella Toone, you just cannot help but love her. Formidable on the pitch and naturally hilarious, with the most infectious personality off the pitch. When she’s not scoring absolute belters at Wembley, she’s now slathering herself with Charlotte Tilbury’s magic cream and has done since becoming a face of the global brand since 2023. A beautiful person inside and out, who has worked her socks off to be the athlete she is today. Ella and her fellow Lionesses brought it home winning the Euro’s in 2022 and as Man Utd’s solid number 7, Tooney is a fan favourite for good reason. Just watching Ella let loose around Charlotte Tilbury’s Covent Garden store on her TikTok and Youtube is such a joy to watch. Ella is so real, so naturally funny, but such a wonderful role model, proving that hard work, really does pay off.
From Charlotte’s iconic magic cream, to her best selling Hollywood Flawless Filter, the lipsticks, foundations and perfumes. Ella gives us her recommendations and it’s so exciting to see giant beauty brands and women’s footballers mix together.
